Spoken] Waiting, we were waiting! We were hiding! Yes ... Hiding [Verse 1] Sitting in a room together, We heard the sound of a rushing wind, Windows and doors locked tightly, But still the wind kept rushing in. Then tongues of fire descended on us And set our hearts ablaze, Yeah! set our hearts ablaze. Now empowered to go out in His name, To share the Good news of Christ, With His Spirit in us, To teach and to guide We have no reason to hide. So, we spread the good news to the Gentiles and Jews, JESUS CHRIST IS RISSEN! Turn away from your sin, Give your life to Him By His grace you will be forgiven. The Holy Spirit has come, and it binds us as one, The Church, the Body of Christ A body that can no more be broken, So, we rejoice with arms raised, In His Spirit, we praise Him In words that had never been spoken. We will never be the same, For in our heart's burns a flame, And closer to Him we are drawn, Bound together in love, by His Spirit within, WE HAVE BEEN REBORN.
