[Intro] [Heavy stampin' glam rock drum beat] Ooh-ooh! Yeah, let's go! [Verse 1] We spent the whole week working in the clay Schlepping those heavy stones all through the day But now the weekend’s here, the sun is going down We don't need to dress up and head into the town Just push the table back, clear the kitchen floor We’re gonna have a party right behind our door [Pre-Chorus] Turn the record player up, let the needle slide I’ve got my favorite dancer standing by my side (by my side... ) Ooh-ooh! [Chorus] ]And we’re dancin’ in the living room on a Saturday night Holding you tight, under the warm yellow light Yeah, we’re dancin’ in the living room, letting it go No more heavy lifting, just a beautiful flow Oh, Renée, Renée, let the music play! [Verse 2] My back is feeling tight, my elbows are sore But when the rhythm hits, I don't care anymore You spin around in your summer dress Washing away the dust and the stress A little bit of magic, a little bit of rock We’re gonna keep on grooving, ticking with the clock (with the clock...) [Bridge] Who cares about the pain? Who cares about the rain? Tonight we’re kids again, running in the lane! [Crescendo, drum roll drops] Let me hear you say: Ooh-ooh! [Guitar Solo] [Final Chorus] And we’re dancin’ in the living room on a Saturday night Holding you tight, under the warm yellow light Yeah, we’re dancin’ in the living room, letting it go No more heavy lifting, just a beautiful flow Oh, Renée, Renée, let the music play! [Outro] Dancin' on a Saturday night... Living room light... Just you and me, Renée. (Ooh-ooh! ...) [Fade out]
