Nobody’s Driving

“Nobody’s Driving”—a protest song for the ones who still give a damn.

No seatbelt, no hands, full tank of pride— We ain’t steering, just lettin’ it ride. Flags on trucks, don’t know the war, Blamin’ broke folks while the rich want more. Screamin’ “Freedom!” in aisle three, Buyin’ prepper kits with EBT. Trump sign rustin’ on the lawn, Still yellin’ “stolen” like nothin’s gone. Facebook facts, Bible quotes, But don’t know who sank their boat. They burn their Nikes, light their fear, Prayin’ to guns and Chick-fil-A cheer. Ain’t nobody drivin’—just pressin’ the gas, Singin’ ‘bout Jesus while they kiss some ass. “Don’t tread on me,” while they choke on lies, Fuelin’ the flames as the country fries. No brakes, no plan, no goddamn guide— Just rage on wheels and a red snapback ride. Say “I ain’t racist,” then shout a slur, Blame drag queens while their pastor purrs. Elon cryin’ ‘bout bein’ “cancelled,” While Teslas spark and the stock gets dismantled. He bought a bird, turned tweets to war, Free speech sold at a dollar store. They follow rich men like they’re saints, While the kids eat lead and the water paints. They think Biden’s clones, that space ain’t real— But can’t afford a dental deal. Ain’t nobody drivin’—just prayin’ for rain, But vote for the crooks who profit from pain. They chant in flames, salute in smoke, While drownin’ in debt they treat like a joke. No map, no wheel, just blame on high— The road ain’t broke, it’s who’s inside. They read one verse, then vote for sin, Cry “holy land” while they box you in. God ain’t comin’ with a MAGA pin— Just thunder rollin’ where we’ve been. Ain’t nobody drivin’—just losin’ control, Spinnin’ the tires while they sell their soul. This could’ve been better, we could’ve tried— But we strapped in tight and let it die.
