Verse 1 The weatherman said we're about to be snowed under Sure enough, I can hear distant thunder So I throw another log on, pull my baby in tight, Looks like Cabin Fever’s staying over tonight. Chorus Seven inches of snow, A monster in tow, But with her in my arms, We weather the storm. Verse 2 The hours drift like snowflakes, slow and falling thin, Cabin Fever taps the window, hoping to come in. But her hand finds mine in the stillness, steady and warm, And love keeps watch beside me while we ride out this storm. Chorus Seven inches of snow, A monster in tow, But with her in my arms, We weather the storm. Verse 3 The night keeps piling on the inches, drifting past the door, Cabin Fever’s getting bolder, pacing on the floor. But she hums a little tune that settles everything inside, And even winter’s fiercest weather can’t shake this peace tonight. Bridge When the wind starts howling louder And the lights begin to fade, We just lean a little closer Till the fear gets swept away. Final Chorus (slow the Pace) Seven inches of snow, A monster in tow, But with her in my arms, We weather the storm.
