The Spark of "What If?" (The Innovation Station) (ver 2)
[Intro] [Sound of a winding clockwork key: Click-click-click-WHIRR] [A bouncy, rhythmic brass melody kicks in] [Excited Speaking voice]: "Look at that! It actually WORKS!" The world was quiet, the world was slow, With nowhere fast for a person to go! Until a dreamer with a squint in their eye, Decided to give a new idea a try! [Verse 1 - The Big Basics] Somebody looked at a heavy old rock, And carved out a WHEEL with a chop and a knock! Suddenly wagons were rolling along, Making the trade and the travel so strong! Somebody captured the FIRE and the light, To keep away shadows in the middle of night! (Think big! Start small! Inventions for all!) [Verse 2 - Communication & Flight] A click and a clack on a TELEGRAPH line, Suddenly "Hello!" was doing just fine! The PRINTING PRESS started to hum and to roar, Putting a book behind every door! Then the Wright Brothers looked up at the birds, And flew through the sky—it was way beyond words! (From the pen to the plane, it’s a link in the chain!) [Chorus] It’s the Spark of "What If?" (The Innovation Station!) Changing the life of every single nation! A gear and a lever, a circuit and wire, Setting the brain and the spirit on fire! History moves by the things we create, Turning the "Maybe" into something great! [Bridge] [Music gets fast and frantic—lots of "ping" and "boing" sounds] First came the steam! Then came the spark! Then came the computer... To light up the dark! (What will YOU build? What will YOU find?) [Chorus] It’s the Spark of "What If?" (The Innovation Station!) Turning the "Maybe" into something great! [Outro] [The sound of a lightbulb "pinging" on] Got an idea? Draw it out. That’s what history... Is all about. [Final playful "Boing!" sound effect] [End]
