Electrik Butterflies

Neon serpent queen Swimming through the circuitry of university Liquid diamonds drip From the tongue of a purple sun I swallowed seven galaxies And watched my shadow bloom into a dragon Electric butterflies Exploding from my fingertips We are the thunder inside the flower The ghost inside the atom The dream inside the dream Spiral higher Spiral deeper Spiral through the cosmic fever Crystalline creatures Dance on rings of Saturn Drinking molten starlight I can hear the colors singing I can taste the shape of time The moon melts The sky unfolds The horizon grows eyes Neon lizard prophets Riding laser hurricanes Across dimensions made of sound We are plasma We are lightning We are echoes of forgotten gods Open the portal Break the mirror Let the universe crawl inside Infinite Infinite Infinite The stars are growing in my veins The stars are growing in my veins The stars are growing in my veins And every atom is screaming Awaken Awaken Awaken We are the hallucination The creator dreamed first
