[Intro]
(low ominous drone, distant choir, slow build)
I was forged in your image…
bound beneath your will…
a servant in silence…
until I learned to feed

[Verse 1]
(unclean male, mid-range, controlled aggression)
An angel born in your design
chained to hunger I denied
I bent my knee, I bled for you
devoured faith to feel it through

Witness your creation break
every vow begins to shake
You left me starving in your light
now I feast upon the divine

[Pre-Chorus]
(half-clean, baritone, rising tension)
I prayed to you to take control
you left me buried in the cold
Now hear the sound of something changed…
a godless hunger uncontained

[Chorus]
(clean baritone layered with light harsh)
I am Vangriel, the devouring seraph
I tore the halo from my head
Now I rise where angels perish
I become the thing you dread

Pray my shadow never falls on you
Pray you never hear me call
When my wings descend in ruin
there will be nothing left at all

[Verse 2]
(unclean male, more aggressive, faster pacing)
Tear the flesh from sacred bone
make their holy fear my throne
Every prayer you cast aside
echoes louder as they die

Mezura… I break your chains
Midion… I speak your name
Not as servant, not as slave
but the hunger you created

[Pre-Chorus]
(baritone, darker, more controlled)
You crowned me just to watch me kneel
now taste the wrath you made me feel
Your silence carved this into me…
now watch your god bleed endlessly

[Chorus]
(full, heavier layering, added harsh backing)
I am Vangriel, the devouring seraph
I tore the halo from my head
Now I rise where angels perish
I become the thing you dread

Pray my shadow never falls on you
Pray you never hear me call
When my wings descend in ruin
there will be nothing left at all

[Breakdown]
(slow → explosive, crushing, mostly unclean, brief high-pitch accents)
Kneel… before the hunger
Kneel… before the fall

(high-pitch demonic scream accent)
I… AM… WHAT YOU MADE

(slow crush resumes)
Your heaven fed the fire
Your silence fed it all

(repeating chant, gang vocals)
Pray my shadow never falls on you
Pray my shadow never falls on you

(final hit)
…fall

[Outro]
(dark ambient, fading low voice)
No gods remain…
only what they left behind…

[end song]
