πΆ Song 160 β I Have Embarked
Paper 160 β Rodan of Alexandria πΆ Song: I Have Embarked (Verse 1 β Rodan's Greek Philosophy) Human life is drawn along, By urges, desires, and lures so strong. Maturity learns to leave behind The fleeting wants that rule the mind. The higher soul begins to see The goals that reach eternity. And social man grows truly wise When lasting values fill his eyes. (Verse 2 β The Search for Maturity) The great mistake of mortal fear Is hiding truths that stand too near. The brave man faces what he finds, With honest heart and seeking mind. A problem known is half resolved, A prejudice can be dissolved. And only courage clears the way To brighter truth and better day. (Verse 3 β The Master's Secret) I watched your Master climb alone, To seek the Father and be known. There in worship, calm and still, He learned again the Father's will. "Not my will but Yours be done," The source of strength for everyone. A soul with God can rise above Its fear through wisdom, faith, and love. (Verse 4 β The Art of Living) It is not good to stand alone, For hearts were made to join and grow. In friendship minds and souls unite, And many burdens become light. The finest school of character, The deepest human minister, Is faithful love that helps us see The best that we were meant to be. (Verse 5 β The Lures of Maturity) Emotions fading, doubts increase, Yet worship brings abiding peace. The changing world may shift and bend, But God remains the constant end. For personality stands secure When eternal goals become mature. The soul that finds the living God Can walk eternity's long road. (Verse 6 β The Balance of Maturity) The flesh is real, the spirit calls, Both must be faced within life's walls. Work with skill and wisdom too, Yet keep eternal goals in view. Learn how to fail without despair, For wisdom often blossoms there. Defeat becomes a teacher bright For those who walk toward higher light. (Verse 7 β The Religion of the Ideal) Religion is not thought alone, Nor ritual, creed, or sacred tone. It lives when men choose every day To walk the living God's own way. And Jesus showed what none had shown: The Father's heart may truly be known. The highest ideal is not afar, For God is where His children are. (Bridge) My philosophy could help me search, But could not reach the final truth. My reason built a noble road, But lacked the power to carry through. Then came the gospel of the Son, The goal made clear, the journey one. No longer wandering without a guide, I chose the path and stepped inside. (Chorus) I am a believer, I have embarked, Upon the everlasting path. Beyond all doubt, beyond all fear, The living Father now is near. I am a believer, I have embarked, Toward Paradise, toward the Father's heart. Not seeking merely truth to know, But living truth wherever I go. πΆππ
