I wrote this song thinking about the internal struggle of those who grow up under the overprotection of their loved ones. The feeling of suffocation, the pressure to meet expectations and the fear of deceiving, as well as the desire for independence, the right to make mistakes and learn from them. I sought to convey the need to take control of our own lives, even when that means moving away from those we love the most.
