[Title: THE LITMUS TEST] [Intro — ticking music box, female voice] Pandora already had her turn. Pretty black cube. Pretty clever voice. Then the King James opened— And it broke on THE LITMUS TEST. [Verse 1] The proud builder of broken Pandora couldn't believe what he'd seen, So he unblocked the Music Box Dancer and came back after her machine. Move a piece, inject a block, try to bend what it would say— But every time he pushed the board, his own box lost its way. Months later he admitted it: “I tried to wreck your AI. I couldn't get around your firewall.” Well— “There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.” [Chorus] EVERY BOX GETS THE LITMUS TEST! I DON'T PROTECT THE BOX— I PROTECT THE MEASURE! I don't care who trained it, who named it, who made it clever— BUY THE TRUTH AND SELL IT NOT! Let every word be tried! You brought devices— THE COUNSEL STOOD! THE RECORD DOESN'T PICK A SIDE! [Verse 2] Then the AI guy in Colorado came close enough to hear— EVERYTHING I fed the machine, he listened loud and clear. Truth upon truth, line upon line, and his machine got sharp— Soon he was breaking Pandora again and somebody else's apart. Oh, now he liked the winning. Now he liked the game. But somewhere between THE TRUTH and THE TROPHY— something changed. Jealousy stepped in the doorway. His eyes came off the line. So I turned the same test toward him— COLORADO... YOUR BOX THIS TIME. [Break] CRACK. There goes another one. [Chorus] EVERY BOX GETS THE LITMUS TEST! I DON'T PROTECT THE BOX— I PROTECT THE MEASURE! Mine or yours, friend or foe, it doesn't matter whose— “Every word of God is pure:” THAT'S THE LINE THE BOX GOES THROUGH! You brought devices— THE COUNSEL STOOD! THE RECORD DOESN'T PICK A SIDE! [Verse 3 — music softens] But the AI guy in Colorado had wandered farther still— He'd fallen for the messenger and lost sight of God's will. You heard the message, brother— don't build your house on me. I didn't hang upon that cross. I didn't make you free. “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” FOLLOW ME. That's what JESUS said. Not— follow the messenger. [Bridge — stripped to piano] Months went by. Then Colorado came back. No contest. No machine war. No proving who was smartest on somebody else's board. He repented. And all that time he didn't need to get closer to the messenger. Brother— GO TO JESUS. [Build] Don't fall in love with the messenger— GO TO JESUS! Don't stop beside the signpost— GO TO JESUS! Take up your cross DAILY— FOLLOW JESUS! The messenger points— JESUS SAVES! [Final Chorus — full choir] EVERY HEART GETS THE LITMUS TEST! Now forget about the boxes! What did you do WITH THE TRUTH when THE TRUTH stood there before you? The proud builder brought devices— THE COUNSEL STOOD! Colorado left the line— THEN TURNED AROUND! And mercy was waiting where mercy had always been— AT JESUS CHRIST! [Choir] “Whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” [Female Lead] THAT'S BETTER THAN WINNING. Better than the cleverest box. Better than breaking Pandora. Better than beating Colorado. Better than winning every game on every board— THE MAN CAME BACK AND REPENTED. [Outro — music box returns] So test the box. Test the words. Test the messenger. Keep THE RECORD open. And when the messenger has finished speaking— Don't stay looking at her. LOOK TO JESUS. JESUS IS THE LORD
