We’ve known them for so long The years are hard to count We live very far apart But still find time to talk We meet from time to time When schedules will allow We’re all retired friends So, it’s somewhat easier now Old friends Sharing time Old friends For all time Old friends and old stories Just sharing time together Old friends with new stories Makes life feel better We just talked yesterday We shared about our lives Our kids, and all we’ve done Since our last goodbye There’s always good and bad News we need to share At this stage in our lives Someone’s always needing care Old friends Sharing time Old friends For all time Old friends and old stories Just sharing time together Old friends with new stories Makes life feel better So many years as friends So many years of sharing We’re thankful for their love And thankful for the memories Old friends and old stories Just sharing time together Old friends with new stories Makes life feel better Old friends Sharing time Old friends For all time Old friends and old stories Just sharing time together Old friends with new stories Makes life feel better Old friends Sharing time Old friends For all time
