TV 007 – The Hunter Legions | The Torn Void
(Verse 1) From broken human colonies where no false saviours came, The Hunter Legions gathered round the dead and spoke each name. They rose from ash and terror with their armour scarred and grey, And swore that no dark hunger would be suffered free to prey. (Verse 2) They keep the Roll of Martyrs where the blackened names remain, Each vow a chain on weakness, each memory forged from pain. Their rifles bear dead warnings, their relic blades burn cold, And every fortress child is taught what must be watched and told. (Chorus) The Hunter Legions stand where human souls would fall, With iron in their voices and refusal over all. They are not clean or gentle, they are sacrifice and scar, A wall of names and fire beneath the wounded star. (Verse 3) They hunt the crimson nobles through the blood-tithe worlds of night, And burn the velvet thrones that dress their feeding rites in right. They face the Dominion where grief becomes a door, And count the cost of mercy on a plague-marked chapel floor. (Verse 4) They distrust the Synod’s questions when the circles start to glow, And fear the Accord’s judgement when its light decides to know. They stand beside the Lunars when a darker foe must bleed, Yet keep one hand on relic steel against the beast and need. (Chorus) The Hunter Legions stand where human souls would fall, With iron in their voices and refusal over all. They are not clean or gentle, they are sacrifice and scar, A wall of names and fire beneath the wounded star. (Bridge) They name the Godengine as weapon, threat, and throne, A buried final danger no sane hand should call its own. If it could save humanity by burning half its heart, The Hunters fear the saving more than being torn apart. (Outro) So still they march through ashes where the frightened worlds endure, Suspicious, scarred, and watchful, never innocent or pure. They do not promise glory, only duty, blood, and flame, And when one Hunter falls, the living carve another name.
