As The Year Is Closing (Cover)

[Verse 1] As the year folds up like paper Stories scribbled in the corners We remember when we laughed so hard We remember when we fell apart [Chorus] As the year is closing to the end We’ll remember the good times Remember the bad times But in the end a new year will begin Hopefully it will be a good one Hopefully it will be one we can cheer [Verse 2] All the nights we stayed up talking All the days we felt so tired Little wins stuck on the fridge door Names and dates we had to let go [Chorus] [Bridge] Raise a glass to what it taught us Every bruise and every bright spark If tomorrow feels uncertain We’ll step forward in the dark Still saying [Chorus]
