1991 Pacific Northwest grunge rock, Nevermind-era polished yet raw production, recorded live via soundboard/room mics at Les Foufounes Électriques Montreal, Late-set intense atmosphere: concrete basement reverb, heavy amp hum, ambient crowd breathing close, Layered distorted crunchy guitars with clean overdubs for catchy melodic hooks, punchy driving drums with dynamic energy, Lead vocals in the strict style of Cobain: gritty, raspy, cracked vulnerable male delivery, emotional dynamic shifts from soft intimate verses to intense controlled choruses without massive screams, Tape-saturated mix, abrasive yet accessible underground live performance
