Ballad of Captain Tarjia Ravensky. (interpreted by the Valhallan White Army.)
[Intro Instrumental] --- ❄️ (She Stood in the Snow for Us All) [Verse I (English)] In the frozen dawn of winter’s war, when the sky was black with fire, Tarja Ravensky took her stand against the greenskin’s endless ire. The colony burned behind her lines, the children fled in tears— But she held the gate with iron will, unbroken through her fears. [Refrain (Latin)] “Fortis Tarja! Custos populi! Pro gloria Valhallae, Vitam suam dedit!” [Verse II (English)] Her coat was torn by shrapnel’s bite, her breath froze in the gale, Yet still she called her soldiers forth: “Stand fast! We shall not fail!” Around her fell the Iceborn Guard, but never did they flee— For where their captain planted foot, there stood Valhalla free. [Refrain (Latin)] “In tenebris stetit, Contra hostes crudeles; Tarja, lux glacialis, Nunquam retrocessit!” [Bridge (English)] When the last evac ship rose skyward, she smiled beneath the snow, Knowing every life behind her was a promise she would sow. And though the orks came roaring in, she faced them one by one— Her rifle sang its final hymn until her war was done. [Final Verse (English)] Now every winter valhallan child hears the tale the elders say: Of Captain Tarja Ravensky, who chose to stay that day. Her name is carved in frozen stone, remembered evermore— For she died so others might live, on the First Great Winter War. [Final Refrain (Latin)] “Ave Tarja Ravensky, Defensrix ultima! Per sanguinem et glaciem— Memoria aeterna!” ---
