[Verse] Face so white it blinds the dark Eyes like tunnels Empty Stark A painted grin A twisted arc [Prechorus] Silent steps that scrape the floor What’s he hiding behind that door [Chorus] Art the clown He’s creeping near Silent laughs you’ll never hear Painted smiles They hide the fear Run Run He’s always here [Verse 2] Red balloons that float on air Mirrors crack beneath his stare In his shadow Do you dare [Bridge] No voice No sound Just a hollow hum The show’s begun But you can’t run He’ll dance He’ll bow Till the night is done [Chorus] Art the clown He’s creeping near Silent laughs you’ll never hear Painted smiles They hide the fear Run Run He’s always here
