We Sailed

[Verse1] Do we even need to leave the boat I asked them to see Let's just head back to the barrier This isn't a place I want to be [Verse2] You can stay here Shane said There's something I need to see It shouldn't take that long Then we'll head back to the tree [Bridge] We are not separating Christopher commanded then This isn't the place for it I'm not losing anyone again [Chorus] I'm not going forward I'm not going back I'll stay right in the middle Waiting for you to get back There's rust on top of the water The scene pollutes the lake Nothing good left here Nothing more to take [Verse3] As soon as we got off the boat It then sailed away When we go through the barrier We'll have to find another way [Verse4] What do you need to see I asked Shane I left Chi's wings he said I need to see if they remain [Bridge] Who in the world did this? Christopher asked next As we continued on to the shore We were walking through the mess [Chorus] I'm not going forward I'm not going back I'll stay right in the middle Waiting for you to get back There are machines everywhere The scene pollutes the lake Nothing good left here Nothing more to take [Verse5] I did this for the most part Shane made us aware I was in a state of a hyper being With Nothing good to share [Verse6] For the most part this was a war Christopher said as he surveyed the scene Did you really do this much destruction? Yes he said I wiped them clean [Bridge] We then found the wings It no longer had a mesh Shane had used the quick release It required a new vest [Chorus] I'm not going forward I'm not going back I'll stay right in the middle Waiting for you to get back There are endless guns The scene pollutes the lake Nothing good left here Nothing more to take [Verse7] Shane grabbed them by the hooks Then he began to walk along Pacing out his moves While he sang his song [Verse8] When we got back to the shore I had a new thought I conjured up the flute And brought forth what I saught [Bridge] Okay before you go Men said as he appeared I have some things for you I brought them here [Chorus] I'm not going forward I'm not going back I'll stay right in the middle Waiting for you to get back We will stick together No one left to wait Our journey is combined We are aligned with fate [Outro] Our surprise is weak Like he was already there As I looked at him he smiled at me I could feel his care These are for you Sam He explained he removed the binoculars And gave them to me to claim You will find new uses for that He offered me clear He then pulled out a ship in a bottle He gave it to him as Shane drew near Can you like do anything? Shane asked him true At my age he replied There isn't much I can't do After that he was gone He didn't even say goodbye We turned toward the ship I made I thought it might also fly We boarded the ship of light We headed back toward the veil Leaving desolation and destruction behind Across the lake we sailed
