Cave And Thread Of The Tao🤍☯️

V6

☯️A warm, slow lullaby from Chapter 14 of the Tao Te Ching, about what cannot be seen, heard or held. Celtic harp, Hawaiian nose flute and steel guitar, a deep voice, and the echo of a cave.🤍☯️ [Verse 1] Look for it, it cannot be seen. It is called the distant. (Yee...) [Verse 2] Listen for it, it cannot be heard. It is called the rare. (Shee...) [Verse 3] Reach for it, it cannot be gotten. It is called the subtle. (Way...) [Chorus] These three ultimately cannot be fathomed. Therefore they join to become one. [Short Chant] Beginning thread... beginning thread... [Verse 4] Its top is not bright. Its bottom is not dark. Existing continuously, it cannot be named, and it returns to no-thingness. Thus it is called the formless form, the image of nothing. This is called the most obscure. [Bridge] Go to meet it, you cannot see its face. Follow it, you cannot see its back. [Final Verse] By holding to the ancient Tao, you can manage present existence and know the primordial beginning. [Chant Hook] This is called the beginning thread of the Tao. Beginning thread... beginning thread... Beginning thread of the Tao. Beginning thread... beginning thread... Beginning thread of the Tao. Beginning thread... beginning thread... Beginning thread of the Tao. [Outro | wordless hum] Music, arrangement and production © Mary Solenne 2026. All Rights Reserved.
