In the quiet of the night, so still Came a star, with a heavenly thrill To herald peace, to all on earth A symbol of our Savior's birth O Star of Bethlehem, guide us bright Lead us to the holy sight Where angels sing, and trumpets sound For Christ, our King, on earth is found Through fields of snow, the shepherds came Led by the star's celestial flame To worship Him, the newborn King Their hearts with joy and praises ring O Star of Bethlehem, guide us bright Lead us to the holy sight Where angels sing, and trumpets sound For Christ, our King, on earth is found In the East, the wise men sought With gifts of gold, myrrh, and incense brought Following the star glowing in the night To kneel before the Prince of light O Star of Bethlehem, guide us bright Lead us to the holy sight Where angels sing, and trumpets sound For Christ, our King, on earth is found Now in our hearts, let that star shine A beacon of hope, divine For every soul, in every land To follow love, and understand O Star of Bethlehem, guide us bright Lead us to the holy sight Where angels sing, and trumpets sound For Christ, our King, on earth is found
