(Chorus)
On the island of Misfit Toys! Charlie-N-the-Box cranks out a sad, lonely tune
Every crack, every broken part and missing piece
Just needs a little love, someone to play with
We don't need to be perfect, shiny or even brand new
We believe in Christmas, in the magic, that all our dreams will come true
On the island of Misfit Toys! (Yeah!) We makin' that righteous, joyful noise!

(Verse 2)
Yah Man! I’m Charlie-in-the-Box, well, I ain't named Jack
My name’s all wrong, “No one will ever take me out the box”
The Polka-Dotted Elephant, no place to call home
They say, "Your colors are all wrong, you just don’t belong
And Dolly for Sue, abandoned and forgotten, feeling so sad and blue
She just wants a hug, a little love, a place to call her own!
There’s a cowboy that rides an ostrich, a train with square wheels
Jah know, they got their burdens, but they standin' “So Strong!” right here!

(Bridge)
Moon-Racer, king of the misfits, a lion with wings
A warrior of love, a warrior of peace
declares, "Joy to the world, Mun, Santa’s coming for you
there's a child out there, that’s been waiting for you,
with a big heart and soul, needs a toy with character to make their Christmas whole."
(Organ solo: smooth, echoing melody)
Oh yeah man. you see Rudolph, the reindeer, with his nose so bright
He knows what it means to be different, promises to make things right

(Verse 3)
So if you feel funny, 'cause you don't fit the mold
Remember this story, let the rhythm take hold.
Your unique design, it is a beautiful thing
It's the special gift that only you can bring!
When Santa comes 'round, on this foggy, christmas night
Rudolph’s gonna guide him, oh what a wonderful sight

We don't need to be perfect, shiny or even brand new
We believe in Christmas, in the magic, that all our dreams will come true
On the island of Misfit Toys! (Yeah!) We makin' that righteous, joyful noise!

(Outro)
So hold your head up high, don't you shed no tear!
Your delivery is comin', Christmas time is here!
The island of Misfit Toys! (Yeah Mun!) One love! One heart! One destiny,
(Fade out with repeated "Island of Misfit Toys" ad-libs and bass line)

(Intro: Instrumental with a strong bass line and echoey organ chord) (Verse 1) Gather-round, listen to me, children, listen to me now We got a little spot of trouble up at the North Pole Not every single present is going to find a home Sometimes the mold breaks, or the elves just get it wrong They send them on a boat ride, across the sea of ice To a desolate and forbidden place, never to be seen (Chorus) On the island of Misfit Toys! Charlie-N-the-Box cranks out a sad, lonely tune Every crack, every broken part and missing piece Just needs a little love, someone to play with We don't need to be perfect, shiny or even brand new We believe in Christmas, in the magic, that all our dreams will come true On the island of Misfit Toys!
