[Intro] Sun goes down, barn lights glow, Everybody knows where the animals go. Farmer turns his back, shuts the farmhouse door, Then Otis starts a party shaking up the floor! Hey! Hey! Barnyard crew, come on! Soon as that farmer’s gone— [Verse 1] Otis hits the barn with a grin on his face, Pip comes running like he’s winning a race. Pig’s by the snacks saying, “Save me a plate!” Freddy’s getting wild while Peck tempts fate. Duke tries hard to keep everybody straight, But keeping this crew calm is already too late. Music gets louder, hay starts to fly, Whole damn barn gonna shake tonight! They’re riding, sliding, breaking every rule, Turning farm life into an animal school. One minute peaceful, next minute insane, Somebody’s probably driving the tractor again! [Pre-Chorus] Keep it quiet— Farmer’s sleeping inside. But when Otis gets an idea, You better hold on tight! [Chorus] When the farmer’s gone, we’re tearing up the barn! Party till the sunrise, sounding the alarm! Hooves on the floor, everybody sing along, Welcome to the Barnyard when the farmer’s gone! Hey! Raise that roof, let the whole farm know! Hey! From the chicken coop down to the old silo! Crazy all night till the break of dawn, That’s how we do it when the farmer’s gone! [Verse 2] Abby rolls in saying, “What’d you do now?” Otis just laughs like, “We’ll figure it out somehow.” Suddenly there’s trouble coming over the hill, Party gets paused and the whole place stills. Because jokes are jokes, but the crew stands strong, Mess with their family and you won’t last long. From ridiculous plans to saving the day, They’ll turn every disaster into their own way. Then danger disappears and the speakers come back, Pig found the food and Freddy lost track. Peck starts screaming, Pip’s laughing hard, Just another normal night in the Barnyard! [Pre-Chorus] Keep it quiet— Wait, who broke the light? Farmer might wake up, Everybody act normal—RIGHT! [Bridge] Freeze! Farmer’s coming! Kill the lights! Hide the food! Everybody back where you belong! ... Door shuts. Otis smiles. “Alright, boys— TURN IT BACK ON!” WHOA! [Final Chorus] When the farmer’s gone, we’re tearing up the barn! Living like legends underneath the stars! Friends sticking together when everything goes wrong, Welcome to the Barnyard when the farmer’s gone! Hey! Raise that roof, let the whole farm know! Hey! Everybody dancing from the fence to the silo! Laughing all night till the break of dawn, That’s how we do it when the farmer’s gone! [Outro] Sun coming up, better clean this place, Hay in the rafters, guilt on every face. Farmer walks in— Everybody yawns. Just another night... When the farmer was gone.
