[Verse 1] Christ died for us the Scriptures say He bore our sins and paved the way Upon the cross His love was shown To save the lost to claim His own [Chorus] He rose in glory death undone The victory won through God’s own Son Our faith is sure our hope alive For Christ was raised and we shall thrive [Verse 2] He was buried in the tomb so still Obeying all His Father’s will But death could not His life contain The grave is void He lives again [Bridge] He was seen by Cephas then the rest Witnessed by those who knew Him best Their voices tell His story clear The risen Lord whom we revere [Chorus] He rose in glory death undone The victory won through God’s own Son Our faith is sure our hope alive For Christ was raised and we shall thrive [Verse 3] Now we proclaim this truth divine Through every age His light will shine For sins forgiven we lift our song To Christ the King to whom we belong
