We are the Boozy Balladeers and welcome. We would like to thank Gibeligob for the opportunity to play each Saturday night at the Tinkertune Tavern. Check out his #TheTavern project of Suno creators who are contributing to making the Tinkertune a unique and wonderful community. https://suno.com/song/0805eaf2-6855-47ff-9d7c-fa41dcc13f47 Pint O’Melody – Halfling Lute-Wrecker & Lead Vocalist Born in a wine barrel during a musical pub crawl gone wrong, Pint was raised by a travelling troupe of tone-deaf monks who taught him everything not to do musically. He earned his name after challenging a bard to a drinking duel and forgetting all his songs halfway through—so he improvised with hiccuped haikus and accidental yodelling. His lute has only four strings left and none are in tune, but that’s “part of the charm,” he insists between burps. Brassy Hilda Hops – Dwarven Trumpet-Spoons Virtuoso & Baritone Belcher Once a feared battle-horn blower in the Aleford Army, Hilda traded war cries for jazz riffs after she mistook a goblin for a cymbal and joined a bard band by accident. Her beard is braided with bottlecaps from every tavern she’s been kicked out of (over 37 at last count). She plays trumpet with the same energy she used to storm castles—except now she storms dance floors and flirts aggressively with any elf in a 12-foot radius. Tipsy McChime – Gnomish Percussionist, Chaos Agent & “Sound Wizard” Tipsy was expelled from the Royal Conservatory of Bardic Arts after attempting to compose a symphony entirely with kitchenware and livestock. He now insists on performing only while standing on unstable furniture, claiming it “keeps the rhythm alive and the audience alert.” His signature move is a triple-tankard drum solo followed by an accidental stage dive into the stew pot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Welcome to the Tinkertune Tavern on this fine Saturday night. We are the Boozy Balladeers on our Drunk and Disorderly Tavern Tour, and this song is called Rhythm and Brews" [Verse 1] There once was a tavern, so loud and so lewd, Where the ale flowed like poetry—frothy and crude. The stools had three legs, and the patrons had two, But by the third pint, they’d all start to skew! (Chorus) So raise up your mug, let’s toast to the muse, We’re swayin’ and playin’ with rhythm and brews! Our verses are hoppy, our rhymes are well-aged, And our lim’ricks are lewd, but artfully staged! (Verse 2) Ol’ Pint O’Melody strums out a jig, While Hilda drinks mead from a boot that’s too big. Tipsy McChime starts to bang on his shoe, And we all join the chorus (though off by a few)! (Limerick Toast) A lass from the isles of old Skree Once danced on the table past three. She spilled all the cider, And kissed the bar spider— Then married a barrel of mead named McGee! (Chorus) So raise up your mug, let’s toast to the muse, We’re jamming and slamming with rhythm and brews! The jokes might be dirty, the notes slightly bent, But your coin’s well-invested in merriment spent! [solo] (Bridge) There’s magic in music and more in a pint, And truth in a tavern is rarely polite. For laughter and liquor are partners in crime, And the punchlines are stronger by quarter past nine! (Limerick Toast) Here’s cheers to the gnome with a bell on his bum, Who drums with a ladle and sings with his thumb. He once passed out snoring While halfway through “Roaring,” And woke with his kazoo stuck up his... drum. (Chorus) So raise up your mug, for this verse is your cue, To boogie and belch with our rhythm and brews! We’ll fiddle and flail ‘til the night takes its toll, Then snore in the stables—folk jazz in our soul! (spoken:) "Thank you and Good night" "Folks... let's give a roaring cheer for the Boozy Balladeers" "We'll boogie and belch"
