Awkward Silence (my lyric/poem Delusional-Transition Mix)
[Verse 1] Sometimes, I wish I never would have learned to speak or write this poetry. Because let's face it, no one likes when you're intellectually on peek. Don't get it wrong, it's not that I'm meek. Check the facts, makes love hard to keep. But in this position, friends are not missing. [Chorus] How do you find beauty in such fallen grace? How do you fall in love with a soul, not a face? There really are no wrong answers, but I can't explain. How much it hurts holding back what I want to say. [Bridge] So let's try to keep sinking the ship, as we christen it with piss let it begin again. The sentence is life, this life sentence, is a mother. The early bird gets the worm So they say but what it if gives it away? And work is just play, wasting the days. To fill another grave. [Verse 2] Selection of nature, is just a natural effect. Without life there would be no death. No fear to face, no love or loss As a matter of fact, no God. Yet still I find my way to cope. It's simple. This napkin. A pen. And my note. [Chorus] How do you find beauty in such fallen grace? How do you fall in love with a soul, not a face? There really are no wrong answers, but I can't explain. How much it hurts holding back what I want to say.
