How We Are Made (Tenor Session)
In the depths of the water of the void, Gods' hands weave a space, Fearfully, wonderfully, Each strand of life's fabric knit, In the beginning, when time's fabric was spun, God's hands did the weaving begun. From the void's dark emptiness, Came forth light's first blaze, Then the firmament's dome, And the earth's foundations were laid. Next, the Creator turned, To the realm of the living, And the waters teemed, With creatures of all kinds. Then, on the sixth day, A new act began, God's hands did mold, The first man from dust, And the first woman from his hand. The first man from dust, And the first woman from his hand. In the Garden they dwelt, In Eden's lush embrace, Until the serpent's lies, Brought sin's dark stain. Yet, in the midst of the fall, A promise was made, That one day, a Savior, Would come to make all things new. "And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.”
