Keep The Motion

starting with a catchy, strange bass hook that feels slightly off-balance but hypnotic, this track evolves into an introspective yet danceable, chaotic indie-rock piece with jangly, overdriven guitars, reverb, bending, an off-kilter melodic bassline, and punchy, unpolished drums full of restless motion, stoner rock, energetic, The mix should carry lo-fi grit and tape warmth, as if recorded live in a half-lit room at 2 a, m, Vocals are expressive and raw, male, slightly punk and quirky, blending dark humor with surreal detachment and bursts of emotional clarity, The verses feel wandering and intimate, tracing fragments of travel, static, and distance; then explode into a longing, distorted chorus—a danceable anthem for the lost and curious, The sound should balance urgency and introspection, evoking a sense of perpetual motion—like the feeling of being almost home, but not stopping the car

[intro] [Verse 1] The wheels spin stories seldom told, of reckless hearts that can’t grow old. These Paper maps and coffee stains, are chasing dawns that never stay. [Pre-Chorus] something’s calling me underneath. I forget, I move, I breathe [Chorus] Keep the motion, don’t arrive, we were born to stay alive in the drift between the lines, keep the motion, don’t arrive. [Verse 2] Radio ghosts hum in the air, laughs dissolve, I wasn’t there. Names like sparks that fade too soon, under a full gas-station moon. [Pre-Chorus] something’s calling me underneath. I forget, I move, I breathe— [Chorus] Keep the motion, don’t arrive, we were born to stay alive in the drift between the lines, keep the motion, don’t arrive. [solo] [Chorus] Keep the motion, don’t arrive, we were born to stay alive in the drift between the lines, keep the motion, don’t arrive. [Bridge] Out there— where the map will fray, where every story slips away, I still burn to see the day and find what silence tried to say. [Final Chorus / Outro] Keep the motion, don’t arrive, we were born to stay alive in the drift between the lines, keep the motion, don’t arrive. Keep the motion, don’t arrive, let the road keep us alive. No beginning, no goodbye— No beginning, no goodbye— [END]
