--- Even though I'm an older guy, I really enjoy playing VR games on my Quest headset. One of the most "essential" games in VR is of course Beat Saber. Used to play it a fair amount, but kind of left it behind for a while. Well . . . been getting back into it especially since you can mod the game and include custom songs. Since I also have a lot of songs that I like in my Suno library I thought it would be fun to work on a project of creating an entire Suno album of Beat Saber songs in a variety of styles / tempos. Goal is to eventually map them and get them imported into the game. There is an AI mapper, so that might be the easiest route. Wanted to finish off the Beat Saber Album, with just a nice fun funky flowing song. Had to go with Funk with some gospel elements for texture. Didn't need to make it too complicated, just wanted some variety and smooth beats. I like how this one came out and if the process of creating maps for these goes well enough, I'll probably explore creating a "Volume 2". ~David --- [Musical Introduction] [Warm hammond organ chord… soft crowd-like ambience… gentle claps begin] [Spoken Preacher Vocals] Oh… you made it… [Music Build Up] [Bassline walks in, light guitar rhythm, beat builds] Step by step, you held your ground Through every high and crashing sound Now the rhythm feels like home You don’t have to fight alone [Verse 1] Every swing that brought you here Every doubt you pushed through fear From the chaos to control You’ve been shaping every role Different worlds and different games Different beats but all the same Every lesson, every strain Now it’s flowing through your frame [Pre-Chorus] Take it in—don’t rush away This is more than just a play Every move you’ve learned to trust Now it’s time to move because— [Chorus] We got that victory groove Feel it all around you move No more pressure, nothing to prove Just ride that victory groove Lift it up—let it shine Every beat is yours in time From the start to the final move You earned that victory groove [Musical Interlude] [Music drops to just bass + claps…] [Spoken Preacher Vocals] Wait… wait… hold up… …you thought we were done? [Laughs] [record scratch → tempo shift slightly faster → full band drops back in] [Music Solo] [Funky guitar + piano + choir hits, energetic but not overwhelming] [Verse 2] Now you’re moving without thought Every lesson that you fought Feels like second nature now Look at where you’re standing—how? From the first uncertain swing To controlling everything You didn’t just play the game… You became the rhythm’s name [Pre-Chorus] Take that breath—look around You’ve rewritten every sound This is yours, no take-backs Only forward—stay on track [Chorus] We got that victory groove Feel it all around you move No more pressure, nothing to prove Just ride that victory groove Lift it up—let it shine Every beat is yours in time From the start to the final move You earned that victory groove [Outro] [Music softens slightly, choir carries the emotion] No more trials… No more tests… Just the rhythm… At your best… [Musical Ending] [Big final chord → choir swell → clean, satisfying stop]
