Never too soon for Christmas

Come on, let’s get this show on the road Turn on the carols and the artificial snow Who cares if it’s still October? Smash that pumpkin like it’s already over. (Do you feel like we do?) It’s time, it’s time, it’s time, it’s time It’s not too early, I swear it’s fine! Christmas is standing at the door, (Ringing the bell in a jingly tune) It’s the season we all adore (Does it matter if it’s only June?) Christmas is standing at the front step, Knocking to say “I’m here” Now You just gotta accept Christmas is coming early this year Plug in the lights and pull down the tree Handmade baubles from 1993 Light up the oven and turn up the heat Put in the cookies and bring out the treats It’s time, it’s time, it’s time, it’s time It’s not too early, I swear it’s fine! Christmas is standing at the door, (Ringing the bell in a jingly tune) It’s the season we all adore (It can never come too soon) Christmas is standing at the front step, Knocking to say “I’m here” You’re gonna have to accept Christmas is coming early this year We’ve been waiting all summer, ever since May Waiting for the heat to finally break So don’t tell me it’s too early for candy canes. Christmas is standing at my door, (Ringing the bell in that jingly tune) It’s the best season we adore (Christmas can never come too soon) Christmas is standing at my doorstep, Is it really too soon to show up here? You’re gonna have to accept You're gonna have to accept You're gonna have to accept Christmas is coming early this year Do you feel like we do? (like we do) Do you feel like we do? (like we do) Christmas can never come too soon
