Acceleration Unknown [NDC TT: Krautrock]

--------------------------- NDC TT Genre: Krautrock Theme: The Unknown This was conceived as a journey accelerating through space towards the unknown. Being on duty, feeling isolated, locked up, in motion. But when I heard the phrase “You don’t know what I carry”, I realized the unknown pregnancy between the lines of the lyrics. Possibly the journey into the unknown is only an allegory for parenthood? Or the worries of a to-be mother in a hospital bed, asking the staff and the machines for reassurance? Each shift gives different answers, but she feels it: still moving. Too cold and dark? Accelerating sleep disruption. The story is also told through the versions leading up to this track’s release [pssshh]. The output is always unknown. Will the tempo shift go through? Will it kick, or stand still? Will “still lives” turn into “life” or “live”? Let’s leave it to the unknown. The AI and me, accelerating towards the goal, only to realize that we went too far again. Artificial light, artificial noise. An earlier draft is still moving. Keep it. Release it. [pssshh] Proud Parents Presents: Acceleration Unknown. Copyright © 2026 – JAG -------------------------- [intro – instrumental, low synth pulse] [robotic vocoder voice] Acceleration. Forward (forward-ward-ward-ard) Acceleration. Unknown (unknown-known-known-own) [verse 1 – spoken, flat] Shift-change. Same corridor. Artificial light. All hour. No contact, no group. On repeat on loop. [tempo increases slightly] [verse 2 – sparse, rhythmic delivery] I don’t know what you think. You don’t know what I carry. Inner lives sealed tight. Pressure holds. No release. [pssshh] [short refrain – repeated] Still moving (moving-ving-ing-ing) Still moving (moving-ving-ing-ing) [robotic vocoder voice] Acceleration. Forward (forward-ward-ward-ard) Acceleration. Unknown (unknown-known-known-own) [tempo increases again] [verse 3 – minimal, colder] Chance aligned us on this path. Luck called it a mission. Chaos outside. Routine inside. We orbit habits like gravity, like rabbits. [instrumental passage – synth loop repeats, tempo rising] [spoken interlude] Probability says: Arrival. Probability says: Catastrophe. Each probability: [robotic vocoder voice] One hundred percent. [tempo noticeably faster now] [verse 4 – clipped, urgent] Days compress. Thoughts blur. Sleep cycles misaligned. I dream your dreams and the noise of the machines. [refrain – insistently repeated] [robotic vocoder voice] Acceleration. Forward (forward-ward-ward-ard) Acceleration. Unknown (unknown-known-known-own) [final section – near-breathless, still controlled] We approach the unknown. No fear. No hope. New life. [robot vocoder] One hundred percent. [outro – tempo fastest, instruments lock tighter] Still lives. In motion. Chance. Chaos. Luck. Still moving (moving-ving-ing-ing) Still Acceleration. [robotic vocoder voice] Acceleration. Forward (forward-ward-ward-ard) Acceleration. Unknown (unknown-known-known-own) [cut to silence]
