The Final Day II -Ab_bA-II

He ascended into heaven Left His Church to carry on Teach the truth and guide His people Fight the darkness with His love That day will come like thunder No one knows the hour or time Earth and sky will shake in silence All will stand before His throne Christ will come again in glory King of heaven, earth, and all Every soul will face His judgment Every word and deed made known Lord, teach my heart to stay awake Do not let me sleep in sin Keep my lamp of faith still burning Till You come in peace again The final day will rise in fire Night will lose its hold on hearts Those who walk in truth with Jesus Will behold His endless light All the dead will rise before Him Soul and body joined as one Standing there before the Judge Nothing hidden, nothing lost Every mercy, every failure Every secret will be shown God’s great plan for all creation Will be seen by every soul Lord, teach my heart to stay awake Do not let me sleep in sin Keep my lamp of faith still burning Till You come in peace again The final day will rise in fire Night will lose its hold on hearts Those who walk in truth with Jesus Will behold His endless light I do not fear the final morning If You stand beside me, Lord I only fear my heart grown distant Living cold and far from You Pull me back while time is given Lead me home to grace again Let me live within Your mercy Waiting for Your glorious day Lord, teach my heart to stay awake Do not let me sleep in sin Keep my lamp of faith still burning Till You come in peace again The final day will rise in fire Night will lose its hold on hearts Those who walk in truth with Jesus Will behold His endless light Come, Lord Jesus, come in glory Bring the world back to the Father Let me stand within Your brightness Forever held inside Your lov
