Whispers of the Reckoning

[Verse] Sky painted red shadows cross the seas Whisper of hope lost in the breeze The earth it trembles the ground it weeps In the silence misery creeps [Chorus] Hear the cries they rise above the night Fingers reaching for a distant light Salvation please come heal the scars Guide us through this endless war of man [Verse 2] Children pray under skies so torn Dreaming of peace on a blood-soaked morn Hollow hearts carry heavy chains Seeking refuge from eternal pain [Bridge] The heavens shatter stars fall to dust Dreams unravel leaving only rust A fragile world spirals to despair Answers fade into the thin air Hear the cries they rise above the night Fingers reaching for a distant light Salvation please come heal the scars Guide us through this endless war of man [Verse 2] Children pray under skies so torn Dreaming of peace on a blood-soaked morn Hollow hearts carry heavy chains Seeking refuge from eternal pain [Bridge] The heavens shatter stars fall to dust Dreams unravel leaving only rust A fragile world spirals to despair Answers fade into the thin air [Chorus] Hear the cries they rise above the night Fingers reaching for a distant light Salvation please come heal the scars Guide us through this endless war of man [Verse 3] Broken rivers flow with bitter tears Echoes linger through the deafened years Eyes wide shut but the truth is near A shattered song melody unclear
