Dark Circus by Wackside

Haha ayo I’m just too wacky for yall

[Act I – Enter the Dark Circus]

Midnight stripes on a saggin’ tarp,
Wind hum low like a broken harp
Ticket man faceless under his brim,
Hand me a pass say (“step right in”)

Ground all soft like it breath beneath,
Popcorn smell mix rot and sweet
Painted eyes peek from curtain seams,
(Every blink wrong in between)

I walk slow, shoes still squeak,
Tent flap snap like it smell my feet
Spotlight swing, catch my grin,
(Crowd of clowns lean paper-thin)

⸻

[Act II – The Evil Clowns Circle]

One ride creak, horses spin backwards,
(Mirrors stretch long, reflections fractured),
Red balloon float with no damn string,
Pop on its own — confetti scream

Tall clown grin got needle teeth,
Short clown crawl under my feet
(They juggle knives like it part of prayer),
Miss on purpose — scare the air

They whisper chants in rubber tones,
(Every laugh echo in my bones),
I dodge left, trip right, roll through smoke,
(Accidental acrobat from bein’ broke)

⸻

[Act III – Wackside Chaos Mode]

I bump a cannon, fuse go live,
Blast me across like a circus dive
Land in a net meant for prey,
(Bounce too high — escape anyway) haha

Clowns give chase in crooked shoes,
(Slip on marbles they tried to use),
I honk once — lights all glitch,
Music skip like a haunted (switch)

Tightrope snap when I grab it wrong,
(Still swing free like I meant along),
They set traps neat, I ruin the play,
(Every misstep saves my day) ahh

⸻

[Act IV – Circus Meltdown]

Funhouse tilt when I slam the door,
(Clowns collide like domino war),
Popcorn cart burst, kernels rain,
One get stuck yellin’ in pain

Ferris wheel spin too fast to see,
Clowns hold on screamin’ (“he cheat!”),
I shrug like “nah, I just dumb,”
(Luck my weapon, brain half numb)

Ringmaster howl from shadowed stand,
(Crack his whip at empty land),
I trip the cord that kills the show,
(Whole tent fade in a blackout glow)

⸻

[Closing – quiet, eerie calliope slowing]

I walk out breathin’, hat bent low,
Behind me circus sink like snow
Clown prints vanish, tarp fold flat…
I never paid for that.
