Goblins March: No Wall Too High
Intro (spoken, low, rhythmic — crowd chant underbed) We ain’t hiding. We ain’t gone soft. We’re just walking the road that leads home. Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. Verse 1 Cobblestones kiss our boots at dawn, Lanterns swinging, tired and drawn. They took the small ones to their grey machine, Paper teeth that never seen a dream. We got maps made of mud and rhyme, Clocked our anger, kept our time. No walls too high, no lock too long— We walk in number, we walk in song. Chorus (call-and-response) Leader: No wall’s too high! Choir: No wall’s too high! Leader: No road too long! Choir: No road too long! Leader: No badge too strong! Choir: No badge too strong! Together: We’ll bring our kin back home! Verse 2 Tin horns answer, metal screams, A thousand promises turned to seams. They stamped their rules on parchment thin, But paper bleeds when the goblins grin. We barter moonlight for a midnight plan, We stitch our courage by hand to hand. Through sterile halls and fluorescent lies, We’ll sing the doors down with our cries. Chorus (louder, more stomps) Leader: No wall’s too high! Choir: No wall’s too high! Leader: No road too long! Choir: No road too long! Leader: No badge too strong! Choir: No badge too strong! Together: We’ll bring our kin back home! Bridge (quiet, eerie — creak of chains, whispered) Whispered choir: Hear the lullaby the mothers hum, Hear small feet waiting under the thumb. We trade our riddles for the key they lost, We’ll cross the frost, we’ll pay the cost. Build (goblins counting off, marching gets heavier) One — two — stomp! One — two — stomp! Tin clang — horn blow — voices grow! Final Chorus (full band, triumphant) Leader: No wall’s too high! Choir: No wall’s too high! Leader: No road too long! Choir: No road too long! Leader: No badge too strong! Choir: No badge too strong! Together: We’ll bring our kin back home! (Repeat x2 — each repeat louder, more layered) Outro Chant (fade with stomps and distant tin horn) We march. We call. We will not break. No lock, no law, no paper take. Home or bust — bones and bone— Goblins march. Goblins bring them home.
