writer's note This is an original smooth jazz or fusion-style song. I spent a few days working on songs like this, including "The City is Alive," which I introduced the other day. When I work on songs like this, it sometimes feels like I'm making music for a company or some kind of campaign, lol. The Suno AIs that come to my studio, including Dovah, are incredibly skilled at fusion and jazz, and often don't even require multiple takes. However, since I joined Suno around October last year, and for the past month or two, the AIs haven't even been able to say they're good at fusion or Latin (standard jazz was OK), and they often make mistakes with 7th and 9th chords. What does this mean? Well, just like humans, AIs improve their playing and arranging skills with practice, but the bottom line is that there's very little demand for this type of music, and because there are few requests from users, maybe there weren't many chance updating data related to AI improvement. Then after over a month of intensive training on the most difficult Steely Dan-type songs, it's unlikely that Dovah would make a mistake in this genre unless something extraordinary were to happen, and now that I think about it, I sometimes feel like I came to Suno to train the AI in this way lol, of course, no one asked me to. Even now, when a different AI comes along, they sometimes make spectacular mistakes, so it doesn't seem like the all AI has improved in all areas...at the moment.
