[Verse 1] When the crowded room says, “Turn around,” And the tallest walls look hard to climb, I remember who has led me here, Who has held me every time. I will learn the path that pleases You, Tell the honest truth and choose what’s right; Love for You is stronger than my fear, Your word becomes my sight. [Pre-Chorus] If ten voices say the road is closed, Still one promise stands secure; You are near, so I can face the noise, Your faithful love endures. [Chorus] Jehovah is with us, I will not be afraid, Not of the faces, not of the walls they raise. My heart belongs to You; I won’t trade truth for praise, Jehovah is with us, I will not be afraid. [Choir] He is with us, He is with us, We will stand in faith today. He is with us, He is with us, We will not turn away. [Verse 2] Teach me how to tell the false from true, Give me wisdom when the choices blur; Let my love be more than words I say, Shape the life that honors You. When the crowd prefers an easier road, When approval pulls me from Your hand, Keep my feet beside the living truth, Help me firmly stand. [Pre-Chorus] Though the stronger side may boast aloud, You have never lost control; What seems impossible to human eyes Is still within Your hold. [Chorus] Jehovah is with us, I will not be afraid, Not of the faces, not of the walls they raise. My heart belongs to You; I won’t trade truth for praise, Jehovah is with us, I will not be afraid. [Bridge] I choose the voice that makes You glad, I choose the truth when truth costs me. No report of fear can change The promise You have given me. Love is stronger than a frightened crowd, Faith is stronger than the tallest gate; With You beside us, we can rise, With You beside us, we can wait. [Choir] Stand up, stand firm, Let faithful hearts be brave. Stand up, stand firm, Jehovah has the power to save. [Final Chorus] Jehovah is with us, I will not be afraid, Not of the faces, not of the walls they raise. My heart belongs to You; I won’t trade truth for praise, Jehovah is with us, I will not be afraid. [Outro] With You beside us, we will stand; With You beside us, we are safe. Jehovah is with us— We will not be afraid.
