Infinite Night, Infinite Peace Imagine a place beyond the edge of everything familiar, far beyond the cities, beyond the atmosphere, beyond the last visible light of Earth. There is no noise here. No traffic, no voices, no alarms, no obligations waiting for tomorrow. There is only an immense and peaceful night extending endlessly in every direction. You are floating quietly through this infinite darkness, but it does not feel empty or frightening. The darkness is soft, peaceful and protective, filled with distant points of light that seem to exist only to remind you that you are not alone in the universe. Every star appears impossibly far away, yet somehow close enough to feel like a gentle companion. There is no ground beneath you and no ceiling above you. Your body feels completely weightless, suspended in a vast celestial space where gravity has disappeared. You do not need to move. You do not need to search for anything. You simply allow yourself to drift. Far away, almost beyond perception, something seems to shimmer through the darkness. It could be light moving across an unseen ocean, or perhaps the reflection of distant stars passing through an enormous veil of mist. You cannot tell, and you do not need to know. The uncertainty itself feels peaceful. As you continue drifting, the memories of the day begin to fade. The conversations, worries, responsibilities and small frustrations that once occupied your mind become increasingly distant. They no longer demand your attention. They become tiny fragments disappearing somewhere behind you, slowly dissolving into the infinite distance. You feel your breathing becoming slower and deeper. With every breath, the universe seems to become larger. With every exhale, your thoughts become quieter. There is nothing you need to solve tonight. Nothing you need to explain. Nothing you need to control. For this moment, you are allowed to simply exist. A faint warmth surrounds you as you travel deeper into the cosmic night. It feels almost like being wrapped in an invisible blanket made of starlight. Somewhere within that immense silence, delicate reflections seem to move around you, appearing for only a few seconds before disappearing again. The stars above you begin to resemble distant dreams. Some are bright. Some are barely visible. Some disappear completely behind enormous clouds of cosmic mist. You watch them without trying to understand them. You simply float. Far beyond the stars, you begin to sense something ancient and peaceful. It feels as though this place has existed long before humanity ever looked toward the sky. A silent sanctuary hidden between galaxies, untouched by time, untouched by noise, untouched by the worries of ordinary life. Perhaps countless worlds exist somewhere beyond your sight. Perhaps distant civilizations are looking toward their own skies. Perhaps somewhere, someone else is also searching for a moment of peace. But here, none of that matters. The universe does not ask you to understand it. It only invites you to rest. Slowly, the space around you becomes even wider. The distance between the stars seems to increase, creating enormous fields of silence. There is more room between every point of light. More room between every thought. Your mind begins to let go. The past becomes softer. The future becomes less important. Only the present remains. A quiet moment suspended in an endless night. You drift through a region where the stars seem almost motionless. Everything moves so slowly that movement itself becomes difficult to perceive. Time feels different here. Minutes no longer feel like minutes. Hours could pass without being noticed. There is no beginning. There is no ending. Only an infinite peaceful night. Somewhere in the distance, a faint luminous horizon appears, almost invisible at first. It does not shine brightly. It simply exists as a soft suggestion of light within the darkness. You slowly move toward it without effort. The light never becomes overwhelming. It remains gentle, distant and warm. As you approach, the surrounding darkness begins to reveal subtle layers of color, like transparent clouds floating between the stars. Everything remains quiet and dreamlike. You realize that you are not travelling toward a destination. You are travelling deeper into peace. The farther you go, the less you remember about the world you left behind. The noise is gone. The pressure is gone. The urgency is gone. There is only the sensation of floating peacefully through an endless universe. Your thoughts become fewer and farther apart. One thought appears. Then silence. Another thought appears. Then silence again. Eventually even those thoughts begin to disappear. Your mind becomes like the night sky itself — vast, open and still. The distant stars continue to shine without asking for attention. The invisible cosmic space continues to surround you. Everything feels perfectly balanced. You are safe. You are weightless. You are free to rest. The universe seems to breathe very slowly around you, and you begin to follow its rhythm without even realizing it. Nothing changes suddenly. Nothing demands your attention. Everything unfolds naturally, gently and without pressure. You drift farther into the quiet. At some point, even the stars seem softer. Their light becomes more distant. The enormous space around you becomes almost completely still. There is no need to continue travelling. You have already arrived at the place you were searching for. Not a physical place. Not a planet. Not another world. A state of complete inner quiet. A place where the mind can finally put everything down. You remain there, floating peacefully between distant galaxies, surrounded by endless darkness that no longer feels dark. It feels like rest. It feels like silence. It feels like freedom. The last remaining thoughts slowly dissolve into the distance. The stars continue shining. The universe continues expanding. And you simply remain suspended within the infinite night. There is no rush to wake. No reason to return. For a little while longer, you can stay here. Floating beyond time. Floating beyond worry. Floating beyond every unfinished thought. Infinite night. Infinite space. Infinite peace. And as everything becomes quieter and quieter, even the distant stars seem to disappear into a gentle, endless stillness. Nothing remains except peace. Nothing remains except silence. Nothing remains except the feeling of being completely weightless, completely safe, and completely at rest. Infinite Night, Infinite Peace.
