Hey folks, IO here. I’ve been making a lot of songs with a kind of textural thread through them over the last 6 months or so, and I thought they fit nicely together as an album. So thanks for checking it out! I also thought it would be fun little experiment to add commentary before the tracks to sort of ramble about the process and influences and whatever anecdotes comes to mind. So here’s that. And this is my real human voice, but for all the pre-song commentary tracks I’m going to remix them a little in the spirit of the album. Because it’s fun and because why not. Let me know what you think! Now on to "Texture." Cheers.
