[Intro – Dark Piano / Thunder] (Rain falling... distant thunder...) Another sleepless night in Gotham town, Another reason Bruce can't put his armor down. The city shakes beneath the pouring rain, Another villain calling out his name. [Verse 1] Raindrops falling through the cold dark air, Smoke from the alleys everywhere. Riots in the streets, chaos in the light, Everybody's running through the Gotham night. Everywhere you look, there's a brand-new umbrella, But Batman can't find the mysterious fella. The Penguin's laughing, staying one step ahead, While Bruce just wonders if he'll ever get to bed. [Pre-Chorus] The Bat-Signal shines across the sky, But something strange is passing by. A shadow moves, a villain's grin... "Looks like the Penguin's at it again." [Chorus] Oh, Penguin's feast, the city will fall, Umbrellas rising over Gotham's walls. But Batman's searching high and low, For the bird he never seems to know. He's always hiding, always ahead, While chaos dances through Bruce Wayne's head. Then from the shadows comes a sound... A little plastic army on the ground. [Verse 2] Harvey Dent is out on the prowl, Robin showed up with a LEGO owl. He said, "Batman, don't worry tonight, I brought a little magic to this fight." Harry Potter waved his tiny wand, A sorcerer's spell from beyond the pond. The bricks began to rise and glow, A LEGO army ready to go. [Bridge – Rock Opera Breakdown] (Penguin laughing) ah-hahahahaha "You think some toys can stop my plan?" (Batman) "You don't understand..." (Robin) "They're not just toys..." (Batman) "They're a warning..." [Heavy Chorus] Legos again! The enemy's nightmare! A thousand little bricks everywhere! The umbrella crumbles in his hand, The Penguin can't understand. Legos again! The curse of the floor! The weapon that villains fear even more! How can anyone escape the pain... When barefoot across a LEGO pass? [Final Chorus] The Penguin's feast is finally done, Gotham's saved by everyone. Batman smiles beneath the rain... Until he steps on one again. Robin whispers, "Not my fault, Bruce." Batman says, "We're buying better shoes." [Outro – Soft Piano] Another sleepless night comes to an end, Another villain defeated by a plastic friend. And somewhere deep beneath the cave... A single LEGO waits... DA DA DA DA DAAA... BATMAN!
