DEL CONOCIMIENTO A LA ACCIÓN From Knowledge to Action [Intro — Male] Malik Alim… From what we learn to what we do, build a better path for me and you. [Verse 1 — Male, English] I worked with youth from fourteen to twenty-four, helping them discover what their future holds in store. When tension rises, I can help a room breathe, listen before reacting, find a way to disagree. De-escalation, conflict resolution, turn a heated moment into a better solution. Not every challenge needs a louder voice; sometimes asking one good question changes the choice. My experience is a bridge, education is a key, professional training adds another tool to me. Resilience is not pretending that you never feel pain; it’s learning how to stand and build again. From what we learn to what we do, build a better path for me and you. [Verse 3 — Male, bilingual] Community organizing, policy advocacy, connecting local partners for a stronger society. Unions, nonprofits, agencies at the table, share the skills and resources that make progress sustainable. Workforce development means more than a résumé; it means opening doors so talent has a way. Teach the interview, the trade, the value of a plan, help a person see the possibilities in who they am— who they are, what they know, what they still can become, every skill has a purpose when we put it to work. I earned certificates, kept learning in the process, urban and community studies help me understand the context. From counseling and ethics to public speaking with care, leadership means building something others can share. [Bridge — Male and Female, call and response] Male: What is leadership? Female: ¡Servir con humildad! Male: What is integrity? Female: ¡Verdad y honestidad! Male: What builds a community? Female: ¡Trabajo y unidad! Both: Different gifts, one purpose— ¡progreso con dignidad! Male: Turn the setback into knowledge. Female: Convierte el saber en acción. Male: Turn weakness into strength Both: We don’t just talk about change; we build it through coalition and action LinkedIn and people in action f. [Verse 5 — Male, uplifting] A credible voice must practice what it says, show respect in difficult moments, keep learning every day. If I make a mistake, I can own it and repair; if a young person needs guidance, I can meet them there. Public service needs honesty, transparency, and care, no favoritism in the process, equal dignity to share. Fidelity in commitments, ethics in the plan, protect the public trust and do the best you can. I’m building toward a future where the work can multiply: mentors training mentors, more leaders reaching high. Not one person saving everyone—that’s not how progress grows; it’s a network of prepared people helping talent show. From what we learn to what we do, there’s a stronger world we can build anew. [Outro — Female, then Male] Female: Paso a paso, con sabiduría. Male: Skill by skill, we build opportunity
