Belfast burns/„chain of pain“

I am absolutely horrified and deeply shaken by this brutal attack in Belfast. My thoughts and prayers are with the young man who is now lying in a hospital in a coma, fighting for his life. What he and his loved ones are going through is beyond words. 😭😭😭 At the same time, I want to express my deepest respect and gratitude to the heroes who stepped in and helped save his life. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 It is heartbreaking to witness such cruelty and such a vicious attack. It is so difficult to comprehend. 🤯 What followed this attack only deepened the tragedy. Right now, my focus is on the victim and his family. GOD bless. ❣️ ——————————————————- [Intro] Fear becomes a fire in their hands Fear becomes a fire in their hands [Verse 1] Belfast burns in the rain Broken glass across the streets Sirens drag through the block And the night won’t let them breathe [Bridge] Every soul matters Every soul matters [Pre-Chorus] Hands are tired of shadows Mouths are full of ash They keep asking the same old thing How long can a people last? When will the door swing open? When will the hard wind change? Real mercy still remembers us We say it by name, by name [Chorus] Belfast burns, help come near Belfast burns, we’re waiting here When will justice come? When will justice come? (come) [Bridge] Every soul matters Every soul matters [Chorus] Belfast burns, hold fast Belfast burns, at last GOD help us now GOD help us now [Verse 2] In the hospital a poor man sleeps Lost an eye, nearly lost his life While in the streets Mothers counting broken windows Fathers staring at the floor Afraid of the hate coming crushing through their door Fear becomes a fire in their hands Kids draw crosses in the dust JESUS, You’re the only One in whom we can trust We’ve seen hope in a candle We’ve seen fear in every face If the world won’t kneel for the hurt Then heaven, make a place [Pre-Chorus] When will the door swing open? When will the hard wind change? But mercy still remembers us We say it by name, by name [Chorus] Belfast burns, help come near Belfast burns, we’re waiting here When will justice come? When will justice come? (come) Belfast burns, hold fast Belfast burns, at last GOD help us now GOD help us now [Bridge] Take this rage and turn it Turn it into a hand Take these ruined streets And teach us how to stand Fear becomes a fire in our hands Passing from heart to heart Every soul matters Every soul matters If one light is shaking Let it not go out Fear becomes a fire in our hands But JESUS breaks the chain If we have to crawl to morning We will crawl it out [Final Chorus] Belfast burns, please LORD come near Belfast burns, we’re waiting here When will justice come? When will justice come? (come) Belfast burns, hold fast Belfast burns, at last GOD help us now GOD help us now When will justice come? When will justice come? (come) EVERY soul matters
