[Verse 1] You take my hand say, “come a little closer” floor disappears when you curl in my shoulder Your knee slips between finds the rhythm in my thigh you count “uno, dos” but your eyes say “let’s slide” [Chorus] Cha cha in the dark slow burn, fast heart Every little step pulls my body apart You roll that hip I lose my guard If we keep this distance we won’t get far Cha cha in the dark till it feels like more than a dance [Verse 2] Your breath on my neck traces places we might go you twist, I follow like you already know Hands at your waist then a little bit lower you say “guide me” but you’re really the controller (oh) [Chorus] Cha cha in the dark slow burn, fast heart Every little step pulls my body apart You roll that hip I lose my guard If we keep this distance we won’t get far Cha cha in the dark till it feels like more than a dance [Bridge] You press back I press in that small of your back where the trouble begins Spin to my chest let the music decide If this is a lesson teach me all night (all night) [Chorus] Cha cha in the dark slow burn, fast heart Every little step pulls my body apart You roll that hip I lose my guard If we keep this distance we won’t get far Cha cha in the dark till it feels like more than a dance
