For he founded it, upon the seas,
and established it, upon the floods.

[Chorus]
Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
Lift your heads, doors everlastin…
the time comes which ye await,
and the King of glory shall come in!

The earth is the Lord’s,
and it’s fulness as well;
The world is his child, his ward,
And they that therein dwell.

[Pre-chorus]
For he founded it, upon the seas,
and established it, upon the floods.

[Chorus]
Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
Lift your heads, doors everlastin…
the time comes which ye await,
and the King of glory shall come in!

Who ascends to the hill of the Lord, near his face?
or who there shall stand? in his holiest place?
Who ascends to the hill of the Lord, near his face?
or who there shall stand? in his holiest place?

One with clean hands, whose heart is pure;
A soul not lifted unto vanity,
One whose feet can be trusted and sure,
 And one who has not sworn deceitfully.

This one shall receive, the blessing of the Lord’s grace,
and righteousness from the God of all salvation.
Of them that seek him, that seek thy face,
O Jacob. This is it. This is the generation!
Yeah!
Say yeah!
For he founded it, upon the seas,
and established it, upon the floods.

[Chorus]
Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
Lift your heads, doors everlastin…
the time comes which ye await,
and the King of glory shall come in!

Who is this King of glory?
Whose people will be gathered?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
For he founded it, upon the seas,
and established it, upon the floods.

[Chorus]
Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
Lift your heads, doors everlastin…
the time comes which ye await,
and the King of glory shall come in!

Who is this King of glory?
Whose people will be gathered?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.

[Chorus]
Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
Lift your heads, doors everlastin…
the time comes which ye await,
and the King of glory shall come in!

Who is this King? Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts! The Lord of hosts is the King of glory!
Yeah!
