TV 026 – Pack-Ships | The Torn Void
(Verse 1) They move through fractured starways where the old moon-shadows run, With living dens of bone and hide beneath the distant sun. Their hollow hearts remember every oath the packs have made, And keep the names of fallen kin where void and dream are laid. (Verse 2) Their wounded hulls are stitched with scars from raider, Rift, and storm, Yet every break is bound again with breath and rite made warm. The crew sleep close beside the ribs and hear the engines breathe, For ship and pack share pain alike through all the dark beneath. (Chorus) The Pack-Ships howl through emptiness where broken routes divide, With ancestral memory burning in the marrow of their hide. They are not steel, nor beast alone, nor den, nor warship’s frame, They are the pack in vessel form, with heart and wound and name. (Verse 3) They turn where formal charts fall blind and lesser maps grow cold, Through paths the dead have walked in dreams and Moon-Speakers have told. When Fracture shadows twist the stars and distant beacons lie, The ship remembers sacred ways beneath the wounded sky. (Verse 4) No captain rules their living will as master over slave, The vessel knows the hands that mend, the hearts that stand and brave. It feels the fear before the hunt, the grief before the cry, And bears the crew as kin through void where nameless terrors fly. (Chorus) The Pack-Ships howl through emptiness where broken routes divide, With ancestral memory burning in the marrow of their hide. They are not steel, nor beast alone, nor den, nor warship’s frame, They are the pack in vessel form, with heart and wound and name. (Bridge) When battle leaves its claw-marks deep and silence floods the deck, The crew return with bone and thread to bind the vessel’s wreck. They sing until the wounded plates remember how to heal, And every scar becomes a vow no enemy can steal. (Outro) So still they cross the Outer Halo where the broken moons are bright, Old dens with teeth and engine-hearts that carry pack through night. They bear the living and the dead where only kin may guide, And howl the clans through wounded stars with ancestry inside.
