(Verse 1) Packed up the car, we’re out the door No map, no plan, we don’t need more Just fuel in the tank and time to kill And the sky ahead is standing still (Pre-Chorus) Windows down, wind in our face Leaving behind the same old place Every mile we let it fade Into the rearview, we’re unafraid (Chorus) It’s an open road, we just go No destination, take it slow Every turn feels like a sign We’re right where we’re meant to be tonight Open road, feel it breathe All we need is speed and ease Side by side, we’re running free Just the road and you and me (Verse 2) Small town lights start passing by Like fireflies in the night sky Music low, but it feels loud Lost somewhere above the clouds (Bridge) If we don’t know where it ends That’s alright, we don’t pretend Every second feels so real In the motion that we feel (Chorus) It’s an open road, we just go No destination, take it slow Every turn feels like a sign We’re right where we’re meant to be tonight Open road, feel it breathe All we need is speed and ease Side by side, we’re running free Just the road and you and me
