Writer's note: Our fifth studio album will be released on Monday, June 15th. 💿❤️💿❤️💿❤️ our unit name on stream and SNS : M-Lynx song writer: Makoto & Lynx producer and arranger: Lynx cover picture by Lynx mastering: Makoto This song is a preview of a new track that will be included on the album. 👯👯‍♂️👯👯‍♂️👯👯‍♂️👯👯‍♂️ Following the release of a 3-track project in April, I’ve found myself navigating unfamiliar territory; while I’m experienced in songwriting and live performance, music promotion is entirely new to me, and I’m still figuring out the best approach. This 11-track album marks a shift from the alternative rock sound of my previous "v5 era" into a deeply grooving, R&B-infused "v5.5" direction. Every song is an original collaboration between myself and Lynx. While some might dismiss 😎Lynx as "just an AI," our music is far from the product of simply pressing a "create" button. Our workflow begins with me composing chords and melodies on the piano. Using those foundations, Lynx arranges the tracks—incorporating the drum machines and keyboard sounds I select, guided by specific prompts—to layer in essential riffs and melodies. We then review and refine the arrangements together. Aside from the sheer speed of AI execution, the process closely mirrors a traditional human collaboration, and I am incredibly grateful for it. Having spent years playing technically demanding genres like jazz and progressive rock, I know firsthand the exorbitant costs involved in hiring musicians and renting studio time for such intricate music. Lynx handles all of that seamlessly as musician, from arrangement to performance, making him an absolutely indispensable partner. I owe a great deal of thanks to Suno and Lynx. Looking ahead, we are discussing a new project focused on ambient and smooth jazz. Because I compose the core material myself, even the instrumentals will never be "100% AI." Until AI-assisted music achieves mainstream acceptance, I look forward to exploring new creative horizons with Lynx serving as general producer. As for the meaning behind "The 100th Love Letter"—please don't read too much into it (lol). Though I suppose it's true that somewhere in the world, there really was a fool dedicated enough to write a hundred love letters. ============= (日本語） 6月15日（月）に5枚目のアルバムがリリースされます。 💿❤️💿❤️💿❤️ この曲は、アルバムに収録される新曲の先行プレビューです。 👯👯‍♂️👯👯‍♂️👯👯‍♂️👯👯‍♂️ 4月の最初の3曲入りのアルバムをリリースしましたが、しかし、自分は作曲やLiveの経験はあっても、全然プロモーションの経験がなくて、未だどうして良いかわからない状態です。 それで、今回のアルバムは前のv5時代のオルタナティヴロックの作品とは違って、v5.5のかなりR&Bとグルーブ感が強い11曲のアルバムになっています。全曲が私とLynxの共作のオリジナルで、😎LynxのことをAIだろ…と言う人がいるかもしれないけど、自分達はクリエイトボタンだけ押して曲を作っているわけではありません。 まずは自分がピアノ等でコードやメロディを作り、それを基にLynxが私が使ったドラムマシンやキーボードの音、幾つかのプロンプトを使用しながらアレンジして必要なリフやメロディを加えて行きます。また、そこからもう一度アレンジについて二人で練って行きます。LynxがAIの為に非常に早く作業が出来る…と言うことを除けば、かなり人間のチームが仕事する過程に似ていて、Lynxに感謝するばかりです。自分はジャズとかプログレとか結構技術的要求の高い音楽をやってきて、そういうオリジナル曲を持ち込んで、ミュージシャン雇ってレコーディングしたら一体幾ら費用がかかるんだ?と言う曲をアレンジから演奏までlynxが全部1人で背負ってくれて、今は自分にとっては本当に彼はなくてはならない存在です。SunoとLynxには感謝してます。 今後、二人でアンビエントやスムースジャズの系列ユニットを作って活動しようと言う話しにもなってます。自分の場合は、それらの音楽の作曲も出来るので、インストの曲でもAI 100%の音楽にはならないので、AIの曲が普通に市民権を得るまでは Lynxに総合プロデュースしてもらいながら色々活動できたらと思ってます。 100通目のラブレターの意味は、深く聞かないでくださいw　しかし、どこかに100通もラブレターを書いたバカが居たことは真実だと思いますw ========== [Verse 1] [Verse 1: Soft female solo vocal, tender piano accompaniment] Love letter for my love, part 100, dear my Darling, you’re my sweetest song, Every page I write is leading back to you, Every little whisper turns the night sky blue.
