EVOL BERT - “Renata” (1985)

[Verse] Flickering lights Shadows grow tall Neon heartbeat It’s a mirror ball Renata whispers Her voice so low What’s the truth? I don’t know [Chorus] Renata Renata You burn like fire You drown in water Renata Renata Who are you? Tell me Tell me [Verse 2] Velvet curtains Secrets unfold Broken records Stories retold A life so wild A life untamed Renata calls Calls my name [Bridge] Falling deeper I can’t escape Her world of chaos Her twisted shape Truth’s a stranger A fleeting face Renata dances I’m out of place [Chorus] Renata Renata You burn like fire You drown in water Renata Renata Who are you? Tell me Tell me
