A.I.S.C - Changing Times

V5.5

The city was still sleeping when the hammer met the dawn, fire turned the iron red, while hoofbeats carried on. No one thought a world like this could ever reach its end, what feels built forever is the first thing time can bend. Times keep changing, and the world moves on, old hammers fall silent, but the echoes carry on. One age fades away, another meets the light, what we once called tomorrow is a memory tonight. Times keep changing, you cant stop the wheels, every road ahead is built from something old and real. We dont disappear, we just learn a different way, different tools inside our hands, same fire from yesterday. By the roadside stood a forge, iron glowing red, the farrier knew every hoof, every nail, every tread. Horses carried bread and letters, people through the town, iron shoes beneath their feet kept the whole town moving round. Hammer on the anvil kept the rhythm through the day, everybody knew his door when iron wore away. His trade was written in his fingers, fire lived inside his eyes, no one saw the age approaching under unfamiliar skies. Then a strange new sound came rolling from the corner of the street, no reins, no hooves, no carriage, just a motor underneath. People laughed and shook their heads, said, That will never last, people mock tomorrow when theyre standing in the past. Then the stables started closing, fewer horses at his door, where the smell of hay had lingered, now the engines learned to roar. The farrier looked along the road, let the hammer leave his hand, history had not ended, it had only changed the plan. Times keep changing, and the world moves on, old hammers fall silent, but the echoes carry on. One age fades away, another meets the light, what we once called tomorrow is a memory tonight. Now I dont hear horseshoes, I hear fingers on the keys, different light across our faces, same old question still repeats. Someone used to write the pages, someone shaped each careful line, someone searched through endless knowledge, turning chaos into signs. Now a system gives an answer before the thought is done, builds an image, writes a story, turns a thousand facts to one. Some are watching it with fear, some say, Its just a phase, like the people by the forge when the motor changed their ways. I dont know which doors will close or which new roads will grow, but no era asks permission when its time for change to show. This was never about the winner, or who owns the older craft, its about who learns to build when the future redraws the map. Human hands have shaped our tools, from stone and fire into code, wheel and press and engine changed the shape of every road. Now the algorithms the hammer, and the screen becomes the flame, history whispers one more time, You survive by how you change. Dont ask if you can stop the time. Ask what you will do with it. Dont ask if the world will stay the same. It never did. First the hammer. Then the engine. Now the code. Tomorrow?
