Verse 1The sun was climbing over the horizon,Morning painted gold across the living sea.Where a million prayers were raised that day.Brothers stood with hands lifted high,One heart, one hope beneath the sky.And when we sang, the earth stood still,God was writing on my soul His will. ChorusEarly in the morning, our song will rise to Thee,From the shores of this old world to eternity. One day every nation, every tribe will finally see,What we only taste in moments—what forever's gonna be.Till that trumpet calls us home, I'll stand where You want me,Early in the morning, my song will rise to Thee. Verse 2That sound still echoes through the years now,Like waves that roll upon the sea.Thousands of voices became one anthem,Pointing every heart to Calvary.I caught a glimpse of heaven's choir,Burning with redemption's fire.Just a shadow of that coming day,When every knee will bow and every tongue will say... BridgeThe water keeps reminding me,His mercies never cease.Every sunrise whispers softly,"Child, just walk with Me."The greatest song is waiting,Beyond these skies so blue. And every faithful morningBrings me one day closer to You. Final ChorusEarly in the morning, our song will rise to Thee,Joined with saints and angels through all eternity. No more tears or sorrow, only joy that sets us free.Every voice together singing, "Holy, Holy, Holy!"What a day that's gonna be when my Savior welcomes me.Early in the morning...My song will rise to Thee.
