To you, O Lord, I lift my soul; In you I trust, you make me whole. Let me not be put to shame, Nor let my foes exalt their name. No one who hopes in you will lose, But shame awaits who wrongfully choose. Show me your ways, O Lord, I pray, Teach me your paths, and guide my way. Lead me in truth, you are my stay, My Savior, my hope, throughout the day. Remember your mercy, love from of old, For they are forever, more precious than gold. Forget my sins and ways of youth; According to your love, in truth. Good and upright is the Lord; He teaches sinners by his word. He guides the humble in what is right, He gives his word, his very light. All the Lord's ways are love and grace, For he remembers his covenant and call to faith. For the sake of your name, forgive my sin, Though great it is, cleanse all that's within. Who is the one who fears the Lord? He'll instruct them through his saving word. They'll live in peace and their children too, The land they'll inherit, God is true. The Lord confides in those who fear, And makes his covenant plainly clear. My eyes are ever on the Lord, For he frees me from the tempter's cord. Turn to me, be gracious still, For I am lonely and troubled, ill. Relieve my heart, my anguish ease, From distress, bring me peace. See my affliction, my suffering, my woe, Forgive all my sins that lay me low. See how many are my enemies, who plot and plan. Guard my life - deliver me - from guilt, shame, and death, make me stand. May integrity and uprightness keep me, For I hope in you, O Lord, to be free. Redeem Israel, O God, and save Your people from trouble and the grave.
