Battle in My Mind

STUDIO

Pushing hard just makes me fall, deeper into my own wall. Answers drift away like dust, leaving only fear and rust. Want to fight, but every breath shivers with a quiet dread. So I try to breathe and stay, live just one small step today. Maybe someday through this ache, I’ll outgrow the wounds it makes. Round and round my feelings spin, caught inside the storm again. Holding on to hope, yet still chasing light with fragile will. “Let it be,” I whisper low, even if the truth is slow. Somewhere far, a gentle light softly warms my fading night. “They say it’s all in your mind,” but the truth is never kind. Rest and pills—I hoped they’d save the breaking light I tried to crave. Better days that fade again, rising, falling with the pain. Every time I think I’m fine, shadows pull me from the line. Heart keeps bending till it breaks— all the blame is mine to take. Round and round my feelings spin, like a maze I’m trapped within. Reaching out for hope, but still it’s just beyond my shaken will. “Let it be,” I tell myself, though the words don’t really help. Some nights light is hard to find, lost inside this looping mind.
